Everyone is being bothered by this kind of emotion when they want to turn back time and fix something bad they have done and said. They just wish they didn’t do it or wished they didn’t say such words, or just wish they could erase the event in their life. Who would ever want to feel very sorry after committing awful things and uttering bad words to someone though it’s not really their purpose to hurt anybody?
Regretting and feeling sorry could not even fix ruined pasts. It’s just good you felt regret and accepted that you have done wrong and prepare yourself to be better and not commit the same mistake again. Pasts are parts of your present and future. Just live the way it was built and be the best you could ever be. Mistakes makes you stronger and helps you grow mentally, emotionally, and psychologically. Who haven’t done some mistakes anyway?
Saying sorry and feeling sorry could be simple things said and done but to persons who value the emotional aspects of life appreciates a person who says “Sorry” after her/his mistake and feels sorry and expresses apologies in respectful manners like sincerely promising not to commit the same mistakes again. For some, saying sorry seems to be very hard to do yet they obliged themselves to do so when in time they realize they are to blame.
Regretting makes you feel unconscious so why make yourself uneasy when you know you could fix the mess and live your life the normal way again.
